Helene Rose Schu, Born May 14, 1950, passed away on January 20, 2024. She was the loving wife of Bill, mother of Christine and Bill Jr. Grandmother to Brady, Lyla, Nicolas and Isaac. Pre-deceased by her parents, John and Mary Cusack, her sister Christine and her daughter Theresa Marie. Helene loved the arts. She was active in high school and Community Theater. She loved classic movies and could rewatch them for hours. She saw her favorite, Ben-Hur, over 50 times. She had a successful career in mortgage banking, highlighted by her time at Freddie Mac. Helene cared deeply for others. She was passionate, caring and loving. All who knew her loved her. She was a devoted mother and wife. All of her nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends and former co-workers will miss her terribly. She endured a lot of pain courageously in recent years. May she now rest in peace and reunite with her beloved Theresa Marie.
